Celebrate Fathers Day with Games!

Every year when Fathers Day rolls around many try to look for something unusual for a gift. Thankfully, the one thing the economy has not dampened is the ability of people to get together - more people are looking for activities to do at home. Why not look to some old games for some long lasting fun?
There is always the game of Horseshoes but, why not try a variant of that? A current revival in the game is Washers is happening, as the supplies for it are easily obtainable. You can have as many players as you have washers, which allows large groups to all join in or just the 2 of you if you wish. If washers are not your interest, there are still other games to explore. A quick look on Etsy provides Cornhole or where players toss corn-fille
d bags of a variety of colors and themes, which will give hours of entertainment. This too is a game based on the humble game of horseshoes.
What about the fact that most of the country has been having storms, forcing most indoors. What games can we play inside? There is always the classic game of checkers, but why settle for a traditional set when you can get this interesting handmade set by goosegrease.
