Make a simple change collector for Dad for Father's Day!
Dads always have spare change in their pockets. So, let’s create a special container for him to put it in! Soon, he’ll have enough changed saved up to take you out for icecream or maybe even enough to take you out for a special day together!
Collect up some photos of you and your Dad having fun together. Use these to decorate the container! This will make it unique, and remind him of the fun you have had together!
Materials: empty coffee or peanut tin, construction paper, photos, stickers, glue, scissors
1. Have an adult help you to cut a hole in the plastic lid of a coffee can. Make sure it is big enough to easily fit coins in.
2. Use your craft paper to cover the tin. Glue the corners well!
3. Decorate the tin with pictures of you and Dad doing fun things together! Or, use stickers to show the things your Dad likes.
You can tell your Dad that when he saves up some more change you will help him spend it and make fun more memories together!
