If you're the sort of person that would like to hold on to what is left of the summer for as long as possible you may want to consider the seasons hot colours in your designs. Use these colours completely for a great summer feeling or couple them with classic autumnal colours such as browns, reds and oranges to capture a little summer to hold onto as the nights begin to draw in.
The high street stores are rolling out their autumn collections and the fashion designers are further ahead than that, however we do not need to abandon this seasons pallets just yet. As artisans we are generally not pressured by the timing of the industry. These three pallets are even autumn friendly with tones that can roll over all the way up to winter.

The first pallet is Chic, based off a natural world, warm and .... colours inspired from plants invade the harmonic sense of the colour way. Mix up perfect modular shapes with abstract geometry and combine basic colours with greens and violets to take you back to the 60's. Heavy on the browns this pallet is reminiscant of old county styles.
Next is the classic colour way, deeply inspired by
colours of the Mediterranean beaches. Flaming and almost primary colours convey strength and energy, but drive us towards a measured chromatic indiscipline through creative and post-futuristic combinations,
daring with creative couplings. The colours here are much more vivid and saturated similar to the tones you expect on a summer holiday.
Lastly casual tones are taken from a robotic and static world. Iron grey cuts these colours and makes them matchable, while deep yellow inflames them of a dazzling light with psychedelic effects. Unusual yet powerful combinations will come from this pallet and create new forms. This leaves behind the country feeling and uses concrete tones and glass like blues as well as a bright yellow to give the feeling of a heavy city.
With all these selections the bold, rich colours can also be used to transcend into the autum, so if you were thinking about abandoning these colours in favour of something a little more seasonal think again. These colours in jewellery and accsessories will give the wearer an uplifting, warmer feeling. Make people smile with cards and papercrafts that remind them of the summer not tell them it's over.
