Knitters, Crocheters, and Crafters have the Chance to win $1,000 and a Chance to Meet Vanna White!

Lion Brand Yarn is sponsoring a fiber design contest with Vanna White. Contest winners have a chance to win up to $1,000 and an opportunity to meet Vanna White in Los Angeles.
Submitting
Users must first create a project using Vanna’s Choice, Vanna’s Choice Baby, or Vanna’s Glamour Yarn from Lion Brand. There are four different categories of projects to choose from: Afghans and Throws, Baby and Kids, Hats and Scarves, and Gifts and Crafts. Users can enter as many different projects in each of these different projects as they wish to help heighten their chances of winning.
When they’re ready to enter, users can fill out an entry form and send in a photo of their creation for each entry either by mail or online. Contestants will be judged half on creativity and half on workmanship. If contestants work off a pattern, it is important for them to note in their entry whether it is their own design or from another source.
Prizes
The grand price prize for the Vanna’s Choice Contest is $1,000 and an all expenses paid trip for two to Los Angeles to meet Vanna White. Each category will also award a 1st place prize of $1,000. Three second place prizes of $500 will be awarded; along with 4 third place prizes of $100 Michaels gift cards. Read a full list of all 33 prizes here.
Deadline
Vanna’s Choice Contest ends February 1st, 2010. All submissions must be recieved electronically or postmarked by February 1st, 2010.
