Hi. I'm from Raleigh, NC and a proud graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill. I have a BA in English Education and am the owner of a quirky jewelry shop called Risky Beads. I've worked with children, numbers, words, and lately seem to prefer beads that look like succotash.

I have a Risky Blog which is the gateway to all of my shops and insanity; I'm a lefty with a blog called Lefthand Madens where I feature left-handed crafters and artisans, and I contribute to the online handmade fashion magazine VivaLaModa. Feel free to email me and/or follow me on Twitter!
